As per the annual report for the fiscal year 2010:

  • Profit = $189 million
  • Total assets = $172,874 million

At the end of 2010 fiscal, the total revenue of SunTrust stood at 8699 million dollars while the same figure for 2009 was calculated at $8299 million. The total assets of the bank for that period were valued at $172,874 million while for 2009 it was 175,164 million dollars.

The dividends declared per common share stood at 0.04 dollars compared to the 2009 figure of 0.22 dollars. In 2010 the bank held deposits worth 123,044 million dollars as opposed to $121,863 million for the 2009 fiscal. In the same period total shareholders� equity also went up from 22,286 million to 22,834 million.

The bank also performed pretty creditably in the 3rd quarter of 2011 with a net income of 215 million dollars compared to the 178 million of the 2nd quarter. Its net interest income in the same period also went up from 174 million dollars to 211 million dollars.

In the 3rd quarter of 2011 SunTrust earned 2,196 million dollars from revenues, which was marginally lesser than the earnings for 2nd quarter � $2,198 million. Its assets at the end of that period were worth $172,076 million dollars. The same figure at the end of the 3rd quarter of 2010 fiscal stood at $171,999 million.
