Wachovia Bank

Since its founding in 1879, Wachovia Bank has expanded to include more than 110,000 employees across 3,400 financial centers in 21 states. Wachovia now serves over 15 million households and businesses, including 3.8 million online customers. A September 2006 report listed the bank’s total assets at $700 billion, with a gross deposit sum of $390 billion.
