Abstract:
In this paper we will discuss about brand differentiation. It is very important in todays competitive market where everyday some new products are coming in the market. The companies have to bring new ideas of branding to differentiate themselves with others.

In today's global market, competition is very high. Therefore, every company is striving to differentiate its brand from the others. That is, everybody tries to make their brand unique.

If the companies want to succeed, then they have to do honest brand assessments, otherwise same kind of brands will come in the market repetitively. Therefore, those products will not be able to capture the market and vanish within two or three years after being launched.

Branding strategy includes package designing and developing the brand identity. An efficient brand strategy can create a successful brand which will differentiate the company with its rivals.

Attractive packaging, especially in the food business, is needed to reach the customers and sent the right brand messages to them. Companies have to promote new branding ideas so that it can change the brand image with the market needs which is varying from time to time.

The companies should improve their products and services day by day to satisfy the customers. They may offer some innovative services . Therefore, their brand name will spread over quickly to the national and as well as international audiences.

Some companies use attractive logos and catch lines. These are very useful in differentiating one brand from the other. But designs and lines should be developed on the basis of the products and services offered.

Lot of research is needed to develop brand identity. Another important factor is the efficiency of brand management. The brand managers should dedicate themselves in developing brand strategies and they should be fully aware of the products and services offered by the company. In addition to that, they have to keep track with the changing market needs and customer tastes. Then only they can develop a successful brand which will capture the market for a long time.
