Abstract:
Brand Management Strategies are undertaken by every company in order to establish their Brand Name in the market. Contribution of Brand Management Strategies in promoting Brand Products of a particular company cannot be ignored.Brand Management Strategy should not only take care of external communication with the customers but also should pay heed to the customers' perceptions about the particular Brand. An efficient Brand Management Strategy should first try to communicate the Brand Value to the employees of the company so that they can become enough confident about the quality of the Brand Products of their own company. If this can be done successfully, then these people can become ambassadors for the products of the particular Brand and the task of promoting the Brand Products in a better way than the other Competitor Brands can become much easy.
Creating a Brand Image for the products and services of a particular company is not the only task of a Brand Management Strategy.
A perfect Brand Management Strategy should encompass everything like quality of the products, price of the products, distribution system of the products and communication system opted by the company for promoting the Brand Products.
Brand Management Strategy in the Service Sector are somewhat different from that of the core sector. In the Service Industry, every interaction between customers and employees provides a chance to promote the Brand Image. There is no doubt that mass advertisement programs help a company to build Brand Equity, but, in service industry, real experiences of the customers generate actual image of the Brand in the minds of the customers.
The situation is different in the core sectors. In a manufacturing company, the actions of the employees do not create any direct impact on the customers. In this case, the retailers who are involved in distributing the product, influence the Brand Image more than the employees of the company.
Irrespective of the type of industry, success of any Brand Management Strategy requires establishment of a definite and consistent Brand Identity not only in the minds of the customers but also across the levels of the organization.
