It is now the most powerful brand in the world with a brand value of more than 66 billion US dollars.According to Millward Brown's BrandZ index's survey, in 2007, Google was named the most powerful brand in the world. The survey was based on the companies' financial strength and consumers' sentiment.
The brand value of Google was $66,434 billion in that year.
Google's innovations and rapid rate of growth are increasing its brand value.
The company was named after 'googol,' a number consisting of a 1, followed by one-hundred zeros.
The name 'Google' has now got a place in the English dictionary and it is used a verb meaning: usage of Google's search engine to get information on the net.
