The funding received through this investment deal will be used for creating more social networking sites and for offering value added services to the registered customers. In this respect, Ilya Nikolayev, CEO of FamilyBuilder opined that, the company would utilize the funds in offering new exciting services to the customers so that they can clearly differentiate FamilyBuilder from the other leading companies of the genealogy sector. On the other hand, Steve Schlenker, partner of DN Capital stated that, before this investment deal, DN Capital has made similar investments in the social networking companies like Tickle and PlanetAll. He hoped that, after this investment deal, FamilyBuilder would introduce some new range of services, which will change the industry significantly.
