Maine State Chamber of Commerce Environmental Committee
The committee of Maine State Chamber of Commerce, dealing with environmental issues, is the biggest of the three committees. It has more than hundred members. This committee employs a diverse group of professionals, who deal with various environmental issues like the following:

- Land Use Regulations
- Solid Waste Disposal
Maine State Chamber of Commerce Taxation Committee
Financial officers, tax attorneys and accountants make up the taxation committee of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce. This committee has been a chief supporter of Business Equipment Tax Reimbursement program from 1994. This committee is also in favor of lowering the rate of taxes in the state of Maine.
Maine State Chamber of Commerce Human Resources Committee
The Human Resources Committee of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce deals with more issues than just laws associated with basic human resources. Some of the core areas of activity for the Human Resources Committee of the Maine State Chamber of Commerce are as follows:

- Solidifying the Chamber's position as a leader for the business community on health care and health insurance issues
- Monitoring Worker's Compensation laws and systems
