The North Carolina Chamber of Commerce is also known as the North Carolina Chamber. It is the principal and most reputed business advocacy organization in the state of North Carolina.

The principal objective of the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce is to ensure that North Carolina becomes the top business state in the United States of America. It is regarded as the voice of every business carrying out their operations in the state of North Carolina. It also tries to create increased job opportunities in North Carolina with the help of its public policies. For the implementation of its policies and collection of data, the chamber focuses on four principal areas of interest and they are healthcare expenses, taxes, legislative reforms, and workers compensation reforms.

The President and Chief Executive Officer of the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce is Lew Ebert. The North Carolina Chamber Federation was formed with the help of a confederation between the local chambers of commerce and the North Carolina Chamber of Commerce for the progress of the Competitiveness Agenda for the year 2007. The Federation comprises of more than 70 local chambers of commerce, which represent greater than 70,000 businesses in North Carolina.
