History
3M or Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Co. were founded in 1902 at Minnesota.3M mastered quality production and a supply chain after years of struggle. Over the years 3M introduced variety of products.They diversified into defense materials in the background of 2 nd World War in the 40's, products in the graphic arts field, electro-mechanic products, photographic products, medical and dental products in the 50's and 60's.
They further diversified into pharmaceuticals, radiology and energy control in the 1970's and 80's. 3M grew to be a large globally based company and continued to develop an array of innovative products like cleaning products and products for use in electronic devices.

Recent Merger and Acquisition
High Jump Software Pvt. Ltd., a 3M Company has completed acquisition of Delivery Management Solutions Provider Global Beverage Group Inc. recently. Earlier, High Jump Software had expanded in Eastern Europe with new associate R-ID.
