Recent merger and acquisition
- In March, 2005 AEON acquired management rights for Japanese outlets of French company Carrefour S.A. MYCAL Corporation.
- In December 31, 2005 AEON formed business and capital tie up with TSURUYA SHOE STORE Co. Ltd.
- In March, 2006 AEON made a friendly takeover and subsequent consolidation of ORIGIN TOSHU Co., Ltd.
- AEON made comprehensive business partnership with East Japan Railway Company in December, 2005.
- AEON collaborated with NTT DoCoMo, Inc. in March, 2006.
- AEON subsidiary The Talbots made friendly acquisition of U.S. based retailer The J. Jill Group.
