History
Arcelor is the world’s largest steel producer in terms of turnover and second largest in terms of steel output. The company is registered in Luxembourg. Arcelor was formed by the merger of Aceralia (Spain), Usinor (France) and Arbed (Luxembourg) in 2001. Arcelor merged with Mittal Steel on 25 June, 2006. The new company Arcelor Mittal is the world’s largest steel company.
