History Of Bouygues
Bouygues operates in the engineering and construction industry. Bouygues Group was founded by Francis Bouygues in 1952. In the early days, the group focused on the building sector in the Paris area. Bouygues rapidly extended its scope to include property development and industrial precasting. Bouygues consolidated its position as a contractor in the 1980's and diversified its activities.

During the 1990's, the Bouyges Group continued to develop in construction on international markets. They also entered the field of television, and launched Bouygues Telecom. In the 2000s, the Group refocused on two sectors: construction and telecoms/media. Bouygues Group endevours to maintain sustainable development.
