Caterpillar and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. form one of the first joint ventures in Japan in 1963.In 1986, The Caterpillar Tractor Co. changed its name to Caterpillar Inc. in order to reflect the enterprise's growing diversity more accurately.
