China Southern Power Grid

History

China Southern Power Grid (CSG) is a super large state-company founded in December 2002. With the approval of the State Council, China Southern Power Gird Corporation Ltd is a co-funded and established corporation.
The company was formed on the basis of former Guangdong Provincial Power Group Corporation, the former SP‘s affiliated Southern Company, Yunnan Provincial Power Group Corporation Ltd., Guizhou Provincial Power Corporation as well as Hainan Provincial Power Corporation. In 2005, the company entered the global top 500 enterprises.
