History
In 1856, Credit Suisse Group (CS Group) was founded in Zurich as Schweizerische Kreditanstalt. CS Group took a controlling stake in the First Boston Corporation in 1988. In 1996, CS Holding became Credit Suisse Group as a holding company of Credit Suisse and Credit Suisse First Boston. In 2006, Credit Suisse was launched as an integrated global bank.Mission
