In 1856, Credit Suisse Group (CS Group) was founded in Zurich as Schweizerische Kreditanstalt. CS took controlling stake in The First Boston Corporation in 1988. In 1996, CS Holding became Credit Suisse Group as a Holding company of Credit Suisse and Credit Suisse First Boston. In 2006, Credit Suisse was launched as an integrated global bank.Mission
