The first Consumer Value Store, CVS for short, was founded in 1963. CVS was sold to Melville Corporation in 1969. CVS grew through increasing sales, acquisitions, and setting up new stores across various states of the USA. CVS is still growing. It is the top pharmacy in Southern California and has enhanced its presence in key Midwest markets. In fact, CVS is one of the leading pharmacy retailers in the USA.
