History
The roots of Delphi go back to 1888 when the New Departure Bell Co. was formed. Delphi Automotive Systems became a publicly held corporation in 1999. In 2002, Delphi Automotive Systems was renamed Delphi Corp. to reflect the expansion of their non-automotive businesses. Today, Delphi is a leading global supplier, operating 159 wholly owned manufacturing sites in 34 countries.
