History

Delta Air Lines is America's fastest growing international carrier. Back in 1924, however, it was known as Huff Daland Dusters. Four years later, it changed its name to Delta Air Service. On June 17, 1929, Delta inaugurated airline service. As it began to grow into the international airline we know today, Delta moved its headquarters from Monroe to Atlanta, Georgia.
