Denso was established as Nippondenso Co., Ltd. after separating from Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. in 1949. The year 1957 marked the establishment of Aichi Denso Co., Ltd. (consolidated in 1959). The corporate name was changed to Denso Corporation in 1996. Today it is a leading supplier for the world's major automakers.Mission
