History
DZ Bank has over 100 years of history. The bank was formed on September 1st, 2001, following the merger between GZ-Bank and DG Bank, the two co-operative central banks. DZ Bank grew to become a central bank and a commercial bank operating in Germany and abroad. Today, DZ Bank is the fifth largest bank in Germany.
