ENI

History
The history of ENI can be traced back to 1860. In 1926, AGIP (Azienda Generale Italiana Petroli) – Italian General Oil Company was established. ENI (Ente Nazionale Idrocarburi) was established in 1953. In the 1990s, from a public corporation ENI was transformed into a joint stock company. On 2003, AgipPetroli was merged into ENI. Today, ENI is a large international company.
