Fujitsu Limited was founded on June 20,1935 as Fuji Tsushinki Manufacturing Corporation. The company was born as an offshoot of the communications division of Fuji Electric. While 1935 to 1949 were the early years, rapid growth began from the 1950s. 1960s marked the dawn of the Information Age. Internationalization began from 1970s. Personal Computing, Networking & Multimedia came into practice in the 1980s and 1990s. The 2000s is an era of Broadband Revolution and introduction of Global Brands on part of Fujitsu.
