Nippon Yusen was established in 1885, by the merger of two Japanese companies Yubin Kisen Mitsubishi Kaisha and Kyodo Unyu Kaisha. Also known as NYK Line, the company is one largest shipping company in the globe. The group consists of roughly 577 consolidated subsidiaries and 36 affiliates.
