Peugeot Group is one of France’s oldest and one of the most renowned automobile makers of global repute. The group traces its origin as far back as the 15th century when the Peugeot family comprised rich landowners and businessmen. The lion brand of the group was officially registered in 1858.

It wasn’t till 1886 that Peugeot focused on automobile making on a priority basis and by 1935 had become a global name for its revolutionary aerodynamic designs. Today the group has grown and diversified to become a global automobile brand producing a wide range of passenger cars and other automobile products.
