Also known as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Services Modernization Act, the
Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) is an American act passed by the American Congress to abrogate or annul the Glass-Steagall Act and initiate competition among the insurance and security companies and the banking sector.
