Venezuela Citibank

Banking in Venezuela is not at all difficult. Citibank Venezuela is one of the US banks running a branch in Venezuela. It is the fifteenth largest bank in the world with around $1123million asset value. Citibank provides personal banking facility along with the facility of corporate banking.
The Citigroup has been funding the Citibank in Venezuela since 2001.

This is being done to help the bank in its effort to support three areas namely:

• Educating the next generation
• Financial education
• Building entrepreneurs and communities

The Citibank in collaboration with the Simon Bolivar University has embarked on a program financing the Naiguata Development Project.
It has also launched an educational campaign in 2005 and according to the estimates of the bank there were 1813 students who have enrolled themselves for the program.
The employees of Citibank Venezuela are an integral part of the project who have volunteered for this program.
