The
Sprott School of Business is a faculty of Carleton University in Canada, which is an internationally renowned university based in Ottawa, Canada. It is also known as Eric Sprott School of Business. Previously, it was a department under the Public Affairs and Management Faculty of Carleton University.
The Sprott School of Business offers a number of finance and business management programs both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The first degrees on Commerce were awarded in the year 1949. At present, the Sprott School of Business is also offering various professional programs on business and commerce.
Previously, the Sprott School of Business was known as the Carleton University School of Business. The name was changed to Eric Sprott School of Business in the year 2000 in order to honor Eric Sprott, who is a commerce alumnus of the Carleton University. Eric Sprott is the founder of Sprott Asset Management and Sprott Securities, Incorporated.
