Eligibility for post-graduate studies at IMT is dependent on a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in any discipline that is recognized by AICTE or the Association of Indian Universities. Candidates who are appearing for final year degree examination can also apply. Foreign national/PIO and NRI candidates can also apply for IMT Ghaziabad programs.
The first step of the admission procedure is to pass the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs. After completion, candidates can apply by filling in the application forms. Final selection in IMT is based on CAT score or GMAT score. Selected candidates then will have to go through group discussions and personal interviews.
Placement at IMT is coordinated by the placement committee. The committee comprises a placement officer, members of the faculty and selected student managers, and is headed by the Chairman of the placement cell. Placement activities in IMT are broadly subdivided into three steps:
