The
Ministry of Finance Lebanon or the Finance Ministry of Lebanon is a cabinet department of the government of Lebanon. Presently, the Finance Minister of Lebanon is Jihad B. Azour.
The Finance Ministry of Lebanon is headed by the Finance Minister of the republic of Lebanon. This department is responsible for the regulation and administration of the financial affairs and public finance policies for the republic of Lebanon. The Ministry of Finance in Lebanon is pursuing an integrated and comprehensive reform program to ensure economic growth in Lebanon. The ministry has become quite famous for its pathbreaking reforms in the tax infrastructure of Lebanon (including Value Added Tax or VAT).
