The
Trinidad and Tobago Ministry of Finance monitors the overall financial activities and budgeting affairs of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The Finance Ministry of Trinidad and Tobago is headed by the Finance Minister.
At present, the Finance Minister of Trinidad and Tobago is Patrick Manning, who is also the Prime Minister of the country. The principal objective of the Finance Ministry of Trinidad and Tobago is to control the economy of Trinidad and Tobago in an efficient way with the help of designing and execution of forward looking and advanced policies for the welfare of the citizens of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The Finance Ministry of Trinidad and Tobago also tries to encourage sustainable growth for the goal of enhancing the living standards of all the people in the country.
