Community Choice Credit Union

Community Choice Credit Union (CCCU) is a member-owned financial organization serving 20 counties in central Iowa.

Historic Background:
In 1953, a handful of employees at the Iowa State Capitol Building in Des Moines met in an office to set up an institution which would provide banking services to workers and their families.

Like many such organizations, it grew over time to include employees of more than just the State of Iowa’s many departments to include physicians, nurses, and staff in the Mercy Health Center hospital system, as well as their families.

Organizational Structure:
