Genisys Credit Union (GCU) is a not-for-profit financial institution serving all 68 counties of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula.

Historic Background:
The organization was formed in 1936 as an alternative to larger banking organizations for those employed in the Auburn Hills area near Detroit.

Over the last several decades, it has grown to include more than 125,000 members and 25 branches across Michigan – all while securing more than $1.3 billion in assets.

Day-to-day operations are overseen by a CEO and president, who manage the customer relations side of the institution to make sure that GCU maintains its promise to the customers of being “where you come first.”
