The
International Monetary Fund in its latest report has shown that the World Economy will grow at a faster pace in the year 2007. The world Economy will expand at a rate of 4.9 percent for the year 2007. But there are some major challenges before the world economic growth for the year 2007. Among them Inflationary pressures led by limited spare capacity, increasing wage pressures and the possibility of rising oil prices is considered to be the greatest challenges before the world economy particularly to the world financial market.
As to the statistics, the consumer price inflation among emerging economies has declined beyond the year 2003. On the contrary in case of the advanced economies the rate of inflation is increasing.

As to the IMF Projection for the year 2007, the Consumer Price Inflation for the year 2007 was 2.3 percent in case of advanced economies and 5 percent among emerging economies.
