It has also increased the discount in Auto or Home and Auto, Home or Life segment. This development confirms a strong financial and operational base of the company in the state of Colorado. The Farmers Insurance Group insures over 470,000 automobiles in Colorado and is the state’s 2nd largest auto insurer.

Automobile Plans
Auto/Home Discount – When the insured on the Farmers Next Generation Homeowners policy also has an Auto policy with Farmers a 15 % discount on the Homeowners policy premium is applicable.
Auto/Life Discount - The discount applies to the Auto policy, provided a member of the household also has a policy issued by Farmers New World Life Insurance Company.
Farmers and Ranchers Occupational Discount - The Farmers Occupational Rates covers farm trucks and other vehicles not exceeding one ton. The named insured is the owner, tenant, or permanent resident of the farm or ranch premises, and the automobile is not customarily involved in nor required for any occupation other than farming.
Farmers Next Generation Homeowners Plans
Home/Life Discount – When specified criteria are met a 5 % discount on the homeowners’ policy is applicable.
Business and Professional Group Discount – If the insured on a Farmers Next Generation Homeowners policy is a member of a specified kind of business or professional group and meets other criteria a 5 % discount is available.
New Home Discount - Homes constructed within the last 10 calendar years and during the current calendar year are eligible for this discount.
Home Renovation Discounts – this discount applies to homes in which the major systems have been recently renovated.
Discounts for protective devices – Insured homes equipped with qualifying burglar and fire protection devices qualify for such discounts.
Interior Inspection Discount – Homes qualified through an interior inspection of the house conducted by a vendor of Farmers qualify for this discount.
Landlords Protector Policy
New Homes/Home Renovation Discount – This discount applies to homes constructed during the current calendar year and the last 7-9 calendar years. Renovated homes also qualify for this discount.
Roof Surfacing Discount - When the roof meets minimum, specified requirements a discount is available.
