Bank For International Settlements

The Bank For International Settlements is one of the oldest international financial organizations founded in the year 1930. Since then the bank has been operating with an objective of fostering international monetary and financial strength. The Bank for International Settlements also called as a bank for all the Central Banks.

The statutes of the bank determine the Governance of the bank. The three major decision making bodies of the bank are as follows:
  • Member of the Central Banks
  • Board Of Directors
  • Bank’s Management
From time to time the BIS has been rendering financial services for assisting the central banks.
