Bank of Japan Kept its Interest Rates Unchanged

Bank of Japan- The Japanese Central Bank has kept its key interest rate unchanged at 0.5%. The rate has remained fixed for last six months contineously.

Over recent years the Bank of Japan has stopped its zero rate policy and have slowly raised its rates. The bank also hiked its overnight call rates to 0.5 per cent in the month of February.

The Economy of the country is experiencing a better growth. In the same direction, the Bank also expects that it will expand moderately.

Falling trade surplus remains as a challenge for the economy led by comparatively higher import costs.
