About Public Risk Management Association
Public Risk Management Association is a risk management organization, which focuses on the implementation of risk management techniques in the public sector. The organization is based in Alexandria, Virginia. Public Risk Management is also popularly known as PRIMA. Currently, there are over 2,000 institutional members under Public Risk Management Association in more than 1,800 locations.At present, the President of Public Risk Management Association is William C Kostner. There are 37 chapters of Public Risk Management Association throughout the United States.
Any public sector employee who is a risk management professional working under a municipal body, regional community, state government, intergovernmental syndicate or special district is eligible to become a member of PRIMA. PRIMA offers a number of benefits to its members.
There are two types of memberships available under PRIMA and they are government membership and affiliate membership.
