Trading Card Templates are mostly used by those who deal in trading cards. Persons who collect trading cards often wish to change and recreate the specified formats. Steps for Creating Trading Card Templates

There are a number of steps involved in the creation of trading card templates. The entire procedure is done in the Microsoft Word format. The process begins from the Start menu and then the appropriate computer Program (MS Word) is selected. After the word document is opened, the user needs to go to the File menu and should select New and thereafter Template. In the dialog box appearing on screen one need to select OK.
After this, the user needs to revert back to File. Then another option called Page Setup should be selected. Then after determining the appropriate Paper Size the Orientation option will appear and the user should chose the Landscape option and should click on the OK button. Once this process is completed, one needs to move on to the View option and then to the Zoom. Then the entire page should be selected by clicking the Whole Page option. Now, one needs to go to the View menu, choose Toolbars option from there and should select the Drawing Toolbar. At the same time, the line tool should also be used but for the purpose of dividing the card into two sections.

After dividing the trading card through a single line, the Text Box tool that remains in the Drawing Toolbar should be used to put some kind of text in the page. The Word Art button is used for the purpose of inserting text in the page and to select the exact style of writing. Further, the rectangle tool is used for drawing a frame and to insert the chosen picture in the page. A second text box needs to be created inside the rectangle for the illustration of the relevant story. Clip art can also be added in the trading card template to make them more attractive.

In this way, the trading card template is created in a computerized form. These can be used for providing a number of information but the basic structure of the trading card remains the same.
