The Superannuation Fund Governance Conference is going to be held in Melbourne, Australia from 6th May to 7th May, 2008. It will be organized in the form of a workshop and is a joint initiative of Melbourne Center for Financial Studies (MCFS) and AIST (Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees). The principal area of discussion is Superannuation Fund Board Governance and the name of the Workshop is "Superannuation Board Governance: Search for a Super Model".
This workshop is going to be held directly following an important industry conference that will be coordinated by MCFS and AIST on the same topic.
The workshop on Superannuation Board Governance will offer a chance for research workers carrying out researches on superannuation and governance to demonstrate ongoing research work, build up associations with other industry and research workers, to distinguish themes, which necessitate research work and to encourage additional educational research in the area of superannuation fund governance.
