The founder of World Economic Forum is Professor Klaus M. Schwab.
About World Economic Forum
World Economic Forum was incorporated in the year 1971. It was formed as an autonomous global institution, which functions as a non-profit seeking Swiss organization.
The World Economic Forum was founded to serve the purpose of a platform for negotiation and discussion regarding the principal socioeconomic problems of the world. It also holds region-based meetings all round the year.
The representative offices of World Economic Forum were inaugurated in New York and Beijing in the year 2006.

In the meeting, a consensus was taken about the necessity for the G8 to grow its membership and for efficacious stimulation for the economy of the United States. The policy and corporate leaders also named nine potential threats to the world economy in the near future.
A brainstorming session was held at the meeting where the absence of organized communication and leadership was picked out as the single largest threat to global economic development. Participants of the meeting also accorded at a session while discussing the global economic condition that the recession risk in the United States has increased and it is going up. Nevertheless, they had different opinions about its probable influence on the other parts of the globe.
