United States Money
United States money consists of the dollar, the currency code being USD. Symbolically , the United States money can be written by the symbol US$.United States money consisting of the dollar has 100 divisions which are referred to as cents.
In the event when the United States money denomination is equal to a dollar or less than a dollar, United States money is given out as United States coins.
United States money denominations when greater than a dollar or equal to a dollar are given out in the form of Federal reserve notes.
The United States Mint produces the United States coins
On the other hand, United States money consisting of the federal reserve notes are produced by Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
The federal reserve notes started being circulated since the year 1914.United States money besides having divisions of 100 cents also has another division called mills.
This was used to denote denomination of a ten dollars in the Coinage Act,1972.
