Management Education System in Austria is quite similar compared to other European countries although It is very new and majority of the institutions are located near to Vienna. Austria has improved the Educational Infrastructure and the management schools are a product of the same.
There are Austrian local universities which work along with the European and American management Institutes to improve the standard and offer a wide range of courses. There are also business enterprises which collaborated in the development of management education.
There are various types of courses like Part time , full time , executive MBA programs along with many professional and skill development programs. There are many specialized courses in Hospitality, Tourism, project management, Economics. Management education is given in English and German Language. Many of the courses are taught in German.
The Education fees is comparatively low but scholarship grants for international students need to be checked in the business schools. Many grants cover only part of the entire education program.
Management schools in Austria currently don’t have much international reputation but there are significant developments in the improvement of quality of education to meet higher standards. Students need to have secondary education standards to join graduate programs but they need to have appropriate work experience and subject knowledge. Some of the institutions conduct their own entrance exam tests.

University of Vienna : Established in 1365, It is the oldest and largest university in Austria and one of the largest in Europe. Located in Vienna, Provides various proffeesional courses on various areas of management.
